Festival SICA 2026

Festival SICA's 20th edition takes place in Cotonou from 9–15 November. The organiser frames the programme around African musical heritage and contemporary creation.

The programme offers a starting point for discovering artists and understanding the communities around their work. Performances can be placed alongside interviews, local cultural journalism and background listening. Those sources provide different experiences of the gathering, while any live broadcast remains dependent on specific announcements and the permissions of the organiser and performers. Compare artist perspectives and local cultural coverage, with attention to how regional traditions are represented in new work.
