Federal Reserve October FOMC policy decision

The Federal Reserve’s October policy meeting takes place on October 27 and 28, with the decision scheduled for release at 14:00 in Washington on October 28. The calendar also lists a press conference at 14:30, giving audiences two distinct moments to follow official communication.
A monitoring dashboard can place the written statement beside the press conference and independent economic analysis. The announcement is confirmed; its outcome is not known in advance and should not be described as a certain increase, cut or hold. Market reactions, analysts’ forecasts and the institution’s own explanation should remain clearly separated so viewers can identify what has actually been decided.
