Derry Halloween 2026

Derry Halloween runs from October 28 to November 1, marking the festival’s fortieth anniversary. The programme brings street performance, installations and community activity into the walled city, with the carnival parade scheduled for 19:00 and fireworks for 20:15 on October 31.

Festival information and city council notices should be followed alongside local reporting, particularly where crowds and travel arrangements affect access. Different activities have separate dates: the Awakening the Walled City trail is listed for October 28–30. For remote audiences, verified coverage can show how local groups create the celebration without implying that every performance is streamed.

Current organizer FAQ and council confirm November 1 end. Older pages retain 2025 or October 31-only wording.
