Austrian Parliament Open House Day 2026

Austria’s Parliament opens to visitors on National Day, October 26, from 10:00 to 16:00. The institution lists the last admission at approximately 14:00, making the public opening a specific civic event within the country’s wider national commemorations.

Coverage can connect parliamentary information with Austrian public broadcasting and reporting on civic participation. Visitors should distinguish opening hours from the admission cutoff and check accessibility or security instructions before travelling. For remote audiences, institutional explanations and local coverage provide context without requiring a live tour. The open house is an opportunity to explain how the legislature works while following the day’s broader public activity.
