Bangkok Art Biennale 2026: Angels and Mara

Bangkok Art Biennale opens on October 29 under the theme Angels and Mara and continues until February 28, 2027. The fifth edition brings contemporary art into multiple settings across the Thai capital. Its opening provides a focal point for artists, cultural institutions and audiences interested in the relationship between art and urban life.

The biennale’s announcements and venue programmes help distinguish the overall exhibition period from individual opening events and performances. Thai cultural reporting and participating artists offer additional interpretations of the work. Visiting hours vary by venue, so no single opening time is asserted here. Photographs of exhibited artworks also need rights checks before editorial or social media redistribution.

Long-running exhibition; end date is February 28, 2027.
