Africa Forum on Science and Innovation for Agrifood Systems Transformation

The Africa Forum on Harnessing Science and Innovation for Agrifood Systems Transformation takes place from October 27 to 29 at the United Nations Conference Centre in Addis Ababa. It convenes policymakers, researchers, development partners, businesses and other stakeholders around practical questions facing African food systems.

The programme can be monitored alongside agricultural reporting and research-based analysis from different countries. This helps distinguish policy proposals, demonstrated technologies and the experiences of people working in food production. Session times and remote participation arrangements require the current agenda. Coverage should avoid presenting a proposed innovation as a continent-wide solution without examining the local conditions, evidence and implementation requirements discussed by participants.
